Abstract EN

This study aimed at identify the level of some critical thinking skills among university students according to some variables.

The descriptive approach was used for its suitability to the nature of the subject, and we relied in this on the critical thinking test as a measurement tool, as the sample included "246" university students from the original community for the study.

Through this study, we reached the following results: - The study revealed that the level of some critical thinking skills among students of the Department of Social Sciences is acceptable.

- The study showed that there are no statistically significant differences in the critical thinking skills of students of the Department of Social Sciences due to the age variable.

- The study showed that there are no statistically significant differences in the critical thinking skills of students of the Department of Social Sciences due to the variable of academic specialization (scientific / literary- bac (- Academic training at the university has a positive role in developing some critical thinking skills among students of the Department of Social Sciences.
