Abstract EN

This article tries to introduce the concept of Islamic tourism as a new touristic pattern It starts from studying its reality in the Organization of Islamic Cooperation countries in terms of the available capabilities and challenges facing them.

Moreover, the paper tries to identify the elements of Islamic tourism in Algeria in order to activate it and benefit from the experiences of leading countries.

In this field, we have come to the conclusion that Algeria has tourism potentials that can be used in the field of Islamic tourism in order to advance the Algerian economy.
