The present research aims to open up to the role and value of introspection in knowledge exactly in psychology.

by clarifying the different intellectual opinions, and by focusing in particular on the behavioral school as the most important school that criticized introspection for nearly 100 years ago on the basis that it is an non-scientific approach refusing to use it explicitly in psychology.

The study concluded that although the many criticisms of introspection, it is more widespread than others believe and still retains and believe in its usefulness, and we cannot do without it, but we can make it more acceptable by developing it and widening its borders.
