Abstract EN

This article discusses the problem of the spread of Christianity, Islam, and Western ways of life on the fishing activity, especially its effect on the traditional beliefs of hunting in the study societies.

Interviews were conducted with a sample of community members, consisting of (132) participants.

The most important results of the study are: The sea is the god who protects and supervises fishing activities.

Women are still banned from sea fishing due to traditional beliefs that they are physically unfit for such work.

Fishermen think that fishing on Tuesday is taboo.

The spread of autism disorder among the members of the fishing community, which they attributed to the anger of the sea god as a result of their violation of the fishing taboo.
