The aim of the study is to know the international, regional and even Algerian reality of the Trilemma Global Energy Index, which measures the general performance of the countries of the world in achieving a sustainable combination of the following policies: energy security, energy equality energy sustainability, and the degree of balance between these three dimensions highlights the quality of the country's energy management.

Where the "A" rating in all three dimensions is the best.

This indicator is also used to assess the sustainability of national energy policies, as it is considered as a decision-making tool in energy policy and governance.

The values of this index in recent years are the highest in the European Union, North America and some Asian countries, in contrast, the values of this index in South America, African countries and some Asian countries still have not reached the required level.
