This article aims to develop a distinctive liberal approach to minority rights from the point of view of kymlicka, this differs from the development of the traditional liberal approach, because there is no single traditional approach as there is a staggering diversity of views within the liberal tradition, most of which are shaped by historical emergencies and exigencies.

Therefore, to define a clear liberal approach, we need to start over.

We need to lay down the basic principles of liberalism, and then see how it affects the claims of ethnic and national minorities, highlighting the most important issues raised by utilitarianism in order to establish a theory that takes into account all the rights of minorities and political components.

In a liberal society, political philosophy is a field of conflict and tensions between new and old ideas, so our philosopher approaches his presentation according to the developments in the political arena in American philosophy, and this article is a very modest research on the ideas of the philosopher that requires studies and research in order to keep pace with the global arena.
