The English philosopher Josef Arnold Toynbee has been interested in various fields of Religion and civilization the field that is directly related to the problem of values in contemporary societies and the challenges and difficulties facing human life in light of developments in the field of humane.

Toynbee Through this paper we are going to find out the main results he reached, starting from his civilization's concept, he suggests that society and civilization are the same thing, then we will see the causes that led him to oppose choosing among civilizations, finally we will discuss his view on contemporaneity of civilizations despite they were distant.
