Abstract EN

The study is interested in publishing a new discovered archaeological inscription in the Eastern Desert of Egypt, which provided new information and important additions to Al-Rifai mosque in Cairo, and these additions relate to the name of the mosque، and the detection of the sources of building materials used in the building of the mosque, especially marble stones of various colors and types, in addition to the detection of the names and locations of those quarries, which had workshops dedicated to the cutting, processing, preparation and shipping to Al-Rifai mosque, In addition to the detection the name of Head of Stonecutters Sect (Sheikh Al-Hajjarin), who participated in the mosque's architecture, through the study of archaeological inscriptions in form and content.
