Abstract EN

The phenomenon of social scourges, deviations and immoral behaviours has undoubtedly constituted a dangerous turning point in the history of the Islamic Maghreb, such as the spread of theft, crime, warfare, the prevalence of vice, and the outbreak of immorality among members of the Maghreb society during the Middle Age.

In order to familiarize ourselves with this subject and to collect its strings, the novel sources, such as the Mazuni Monasteries and the Loncherisi Standard, have been chosen as a model that reflects for us one of the scenes of everyday life that we believe enriches the history of society groups in the Islamic Maghreb, by monitoring the methods of interaction between members of society and the resulting repercussions.

It is not hidden that this phenomenon has social, economic and political effects on the individual and society, like the widespread corruption of offspring, such as adultery, the frequent divorce and prostitution in society and the shedding of God's anger on the individual through successive tribulations, famines, droughts, and calamities.

The latter, in turn, affects the economic aspect of the State, accelerating its downfall and dissolution.

Thus, through this paper, we will talk about social scourges in the Middle west during the intermediate period between the 7-9/13th century CE and the jurisprudential calamities.
