Abstract EN

This study aims to know the determinants of Youth Tribal affiliation as well as the mechanisms employed by the tribe in order to produce and strengthen itself through the strength of the bloody bond in the youth minds through descent and marriage.

Despite the availability of objective reasons for the demise of the tribalism, the fragmentation of the tribe's social structure, the systematic dismantling and strikes received by the tribe in the Algerian desert starting with colonial policy during colonialism, then the policy of modernization after independence to nowadays; however, tribe has been able to go ahead to impose its hegemony, by virtue of the durability of its traditional structure and the firmness of the values and principles on which it is based inside minds of its members.

Nonetheless, the youth start abandoning the belief on tribe traditional values and replacing them with global values imposed by rapid and successive changes, including globalization and technology.
