The constitutional amendment of 2016 as the highest law in the country included several active institutions in various fields.

One of the most important of these institutions is the National Authority for Prevention and Control of Corruption, due to the widespread corruption and the state's concern about the risks it poses to the security and stability of the country.

Accordingly, the purpose of this study is to stand at the rulings regulating the authority in order to reach the extent of the legislator's success in making it an independent and effective body in the field of preventing and combating corruption that responds to the provisions established for it, which requires us to research the extent of embodiment of its independence and functional independence aspects, relying in this approach Analytical texts brought by the legislator in this field.
