Algeria recognizes the vital role that the International Chamber of Commerce plays in strengthening the role of the private sector in international decision-making regarding international trade.

This position is supported by the creation of the Committee of the International Chamber of Commerce in Algeria.

However, to preserve its national sovereignty, Algeria remains cautious with regard to the activities of this chamber, in particular those linked to standard contracts.
