Monopoly disease has proliferated in pharmaceutical Industries' body in a crazy way; These Companies are clearly misusing their industrial propriety to monopolize the market savagely instead of licencing their IPs.

This led national agencies to work effectively against these unfair practices in order to guaranty market equilibrium.

We will try, through this paper, to shed some light on this issue by displaying a wide variety of antitrust claims, alleging collusion and exclusion, that have been raised against Brand – drug manufacturers.

The examples are drawn mainly from the United States, although European developments are also included where relevant.
