Abstract EN

We endeavor in this article to define the status and the importance of syntax in the thinking of Arab scientists in general, and in the thinking of grammarians in particular; we also try in the same context to highlight the effect of this science in revealing the meanings and the structures of discourse, editing and guiding the recipients’ comprehension.

confining ourselves to the study of syntax doesn’t mean we prefer it to other sciences, but we consider all Arabic sciences equal in status and favor thanks to their scientific value and honorable resources; therefore, our choice of this science is related to functional, methodological or educational reasons.
