The aim of this research is to know the relationship between self-efficacy in reading and some variables (nationality, age, academic level and mother tongue) among Arabic language learners who speaks other languages، and to achieve these goals the researcher used the descriptive analytical approach.
The research sample consisted of (208) learners from all levels of the Institute of Arabic Language Teaching for non-Arabic speakers at Islamic University of Madinah, The research tools consisted of identifying the dimensions of self-efficacy in reading, and a measure of self-efficacy in reading, the research reached a list of dimensions of self-efficacy in reading that included (5) main dimensions, to which (33) sub-words belong, as for the degree of availability of the degree of self-efficacy in reading, the results showed that the weighted average of the learner’s dimension was (4.44), as it ranked first, and distance of the learner in the classroom, its value reached (3.54), where it ranked fourth, distance of the teacher, its value reached (3.78), where it ranked second, and after the course content, its value reached (3.29), where it ranked fifth, distance of evaluation, its value reached (3.59), where it ranked third.
The research also concluded that there is a positive correlation statistically significant at the level of significance (0.05) between self-efficacy in reading and variables (nationality, academic level, and mother tongue) It was also shown that there was no correlation between reading self-efficacy and the age variable.
