The current study aims to identify the availability of the criteria for choosing the linguistic structures mentioned in the student's book (1) with the teacher’s guide of the Arab series books for Young People, the study community consisted of the six books student series', the six teacher's guide, the study sample is the student’s book (1) from the series' books, along with the teacher's book (1).
The study used the descriptive analytical method, the study tool is eight criteria on focus of which the book’s structures are evaluated in terms of their fulfillment of these criteria, on top of these criteria is a common standard of linguistic structures, the study has showed a number of results, including: The number of linguistic structures patterns that mentioned in the first book reached twenty-five nominal and actual syntactic patterns, the number of nominal and actual basic linguistic structures patterns reached three linguistic patterns, while the number of non-basic nominal and actual tructures patterns reached twenty two linguistic patterns, these structures were presented through dialogues linked to life situations, in addition to following the steps of the dialogue stipulated in the literature on teaching the Arabic language for non-native speakers, the methods of activities and training accompanying the dialogues has varied, the eight criteria for selecting the language compositions in the structures of the first book of the series of (common structures, limited compositions, repetition, startkernel installation, keep root in the installation words, simply installing one lead meaning, explaining the structure, the postponement of different compositions in both Arabic and the student language).
The study concluded with the most important of which are: Increasing the frequency of sentences in focus of the structures whose sentences did not have a sufficient number of repetitions, especially the actual basic structure of (verb + subject).
