Abstract EN

The study aimed at identifying the nature of judicial control over the arbitration decision when is ordered to be implemented, then identifies the extent of duplication of this control faced by the Jordanian judiciary when ordering the implementation of international and foreign arbitration decisions.

In order to achieve this, the study relied on the descriptive analytical approach; the results revealed that there is a duplication of judicial control over international and foreign arbitration decisions; due to the lack of a legal framework regulating such control in Jordan, in addition to the vagueness of the provisions of the New York Treaty.

Therefore, the study recommends some amendments to the Jordanian Arbitration Law.

with the need for Jordan to withdraw from the New York Treaty.
