This study aims at identifying the contribution of information and communication technology applications to achieving the local development in Algeria, in this context, we will clarify the concepts of information and communication technology and local development, and identify the applications of information and communication technology adopted by Algerian public Institutions, to develop the use of information and communication technology in order to achieve local development and provide better services to citizens and society.
