It may considered as a live / cynical expression of people's social, economic and political Circumstances.

It is – also- a powerful weapon in the hands vulnerable majority in the face of political regimes' injustice, tyranny, oppression, class inequality, oppression, violence, confiscation of freedoms and restrictions on opinion.

Peoples resort to political joke to confront societal repression, political oppression, and difficult economic situations.

We may say that the twenty-first century witnessed a clear increase in the manufacture and circulation of political joke, and perhaps the most important reasons for this are technical developments and the revolution of information and modern means of communication, which led to an increased use of social networking sites and the emergence of citizen journalism.

This research raises a number of important questions, such as what are the justifications for the political joke? Who is the beneficiary of its launch and circulation? What is the effect of political jokes on the political system itself, and then on the space of freedom an individual enjoys? In particular his freedom to express opinion?
