Abstract EN

The Algerian homeland exposed to increasing risks day after day, due to the catastrophic damage that various natural disasters can leave on the environment and people, as well as technological risks resulting from the developmental activities of people because of the intensive and increasing use of new materials and technologies and what may be caused.

It results in potential risks to the environment; Within the framework of this study will be shed light on the issue of major disasters and risks, and the mechanisms that the Algerian legislature brought to intervene.

There are no legal formulas and mechanisms to prevent that, or at least reduce their severity or the effects resulting from them in the event of their occurrence, especially the preventive measures that are relied upon.
