The water and generous land in ancient Iraq, helped to increase cultivated areas.

the Royal texts, as well as the artistic scenes, that depicted these gardens and the water channels, this is the archaeological reality, different from the image of ancient historians(Greek and Roman classics), which stemmed from a fictional vision.

the image of the hanging gardens, which ancient historians envisioned, is in fact only a picture of the ground royal palace gardens.

the hanging gardens are a imaginative project, with its construction and the method of irrigation, with absence of any historical evidence of the archaeologists of those outstanding structures.
