In a short period of its life, the UAE has been able to create integrated legislation in all aspects of life without distinction between its citizens and has given women their own public and private rights of belief in the importance of the role of women in the development of society.

Women also participated in all the different labor sectors in the country and their participation rate reached about 66% of the total workforce in the government sector, including 30% in leadership positions and 60% in technical jobs.

The General Women's Union has played a major role in the empowerment of women through specialized bodies that monitor women's affairs and address their needs, and their prominent role in the formulation of strategic plans for the advancement of women.
