Abstract EN

This study aims to examine the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic in redrawing body appearances and modelling its image in a way that responds to the logic of environmental risks and threats posed by the global health crisis.

The current study uses the descriptive method, and concludes that the process of modelling the physical society in the Algerian context is carried out through a practical pattern of social action that is saturated with a system of symbols and semantics which achieves the element of awareness and perception, the modelling of the body image and its appearances come across three levels: related to the face, distancing, and social interaction processes.
