This article addresses the issue of the vital need for science media in Algeria after the Covid-19 crisis.

The media treatment of the pandemic has been characterized by errors and a high rate of disinformation and rumours, causing confusion and panic among individuals.

This situation prompts us to think on the urgent need for specialized and serious scientific media which will play an important development role in the dissemination of scientific culture, the popularization of science and its relationship with the various sciences and technologies and other questions of life in society.
