Algeria is one of the countries that know some of the difficulties in containing the problem of work and the lack of parity between the number of available jobs and the increasing demand by the population, especially since more than 61.1% are from the age group (15-59) years, i.e.

those of working age Based on the estimates of the National Bureau of Statistics for the year 2017.

Despite the improvement in the growth rate in recent years and the high exchange reserves of Algeria, due to the improvement in oil prices, the pace of creating jobs remains insufficient to absorb the accumulated deficit in the field of employment, as the job offers do not match the high rate of demographic growth that the country is witnessing, especially with Individuals who are of working age, and the latter are still likely to rise in the coming years due to the large number of active residents flocking to the labor market as a result of the strong fertility experienced during the period of the 1966-1977 demographic explosion.

On the basis of these studies, this study came to give a comprehensive idea about the active group, starting from the following problem: What are the developments that affected the active group in Algeria.
