Abstract EN

The current study deals with the foreign communities, together with their existence in Egypt during 19th century , along with the importance of Egypt to such communities in respect to the social , economic and political domains and to what extent such communities have an effect upon the Egyptian society either be positive or negative.

The reality has been imposed upon these communities to live in Egypt since the latter has been considered an attractive country for different nationals and they have been able to get their rights via foreign privileges which could enable them to occupy prestige place among other communities and others have become owning lands and senior positions in the state .

Besides , the authority of " Mohammed Ali" has been in need to skillful laborers for running the state.
