Globalizion era is characterized by the liberalization of domestic market and their connectedness within an integrated world economy.

This paper focus on analyzing the relationship between the markets liberalization and the economic growth in the underdevelopment countries.

The main result is that the openness don’t led necessarily to stimulate economic growth in these countries..

In this level of analysis, other variables should be taken on consideration like the pace of commercial and capital openness, the state intervention in order to protect emerging industrial sectors.

The markets liberalization in underdevelopment countries involved also the influence and pressures of international monetary institutions on decision makers of these countries to adopt the process of markets openness.
