Abstract EN

This paper examines the current Algerian security challenges, which are mainly related to the problem of priorities, and achieving the difficult equation between the Algerian national security requirements and their immunization against asymmetric threats from illegal immigration, terrorism and organized crime, and between the human security requirements of immigrants who arrive in large numbers at the Algerian border.

Especially since it has turned into a region of stability after it was a transit zone, which deepened the international responsibility of Algeria and exposed it to criticism because of its policy in managing illegal immigration.
