Border areas are of the utmost importance, especially at a time when armed conflicts are moving from one région to another, especially since Algeria is not immune to these transformations and is at the gates of the regions most affected by them, which has added multiple challenges to the development of border regions.

As Algeria still faces many obstacles and difficulties that hinder the adoption and implementation of sustainable development plans and programs.

This study deals with a set of new measures to modernise border areas, which will have a significant impact on the development of border regions, job creation, doubling trade activity in these areas and strengthening economic integration with neighbouring countries
