The countries' preference for traditional energy sources from an economic and environmental point of view has greatly depleted them, so by noting the development of the demand for natural gas, we will find that it knows an increase incomparable to other energy sources, especially with the high dependence on it in power plants, and its replacement as clean fuel in the transport sector, and the issue of exploiting shale gas in Algeria is of great importance, as it was very welcomed by the Algerian government as an alternative energy source, and on the other hand, he knew stronger opposition on the part of the residents of southern Algeria, which made Algeria's position towards the orientation The exploitation of shale gas is confined to supporters and opponents.
