This study aims to shed light on the spread of the phenomenon of people smuggling in the southern states of Algeria that have borders with African countries, especially Tamanrasset, which suffers from a large spread of the phenomenon of people smuggling.

There are several motives and reasons for the spread of this phenomenon in the state, even if the economic reasons And social comes at the forefront of those reasons.

This phenomenon can be confronted by raising the level of development in neighboring countries, concluding bilateral agreements with them in order to deport migrants, follow up on judicial procedures against people smugglers, and dismantle the gangs operating in this field.
