The permanent International Criminal Court has an effective role for criminal accountability for violations of rights The human being during armed conflicts, and this is one of the strongest guarantees that respect these rights The existence of this court prevents the persons responsible for these violations from escaping responsibility and punishment, and for this reason the court has had an important role in following up and punishing criminals who have committed international crimes in the territory of Uganda.
