religious institutions of all kinds, mosque or zawiya of quran, kuttāb or quranic school, or even a Mahdarah are considered one of the most important institutions which have been played a pivotal role in socialization of people in community, both in precolonial and during and beyond independence.

in this research, we highlight the existing roles of that institutions, we also try to clarify its ways and approaches of dealing with changes under the existing novelties for achieving its goals and maintain components of nation and its identity, national personality as well.
