Abstract EN

This study aims to identify the impact of the application of the Distance Learning at the University of Hail from students’ viewpoint, in light of the Corona pandemic.

Study aims also to provide how to apply and continue Distance Learning and propose several ways for its success.

An analytical descriptive approach was used in this study.

To achieve the aim of the study, a questionnaire and interview questions were prepared, and its validity and reliability were verified.

Questions are distributed randomly to the study sample, consisting of (118) students at the University of Hai’l-Shamali branch.

The results of the study showed that negative effects of applying distance learning are especially keeping students far from applying the different learning methods.

In fact, the paragraph “keep me away from the practice of different learning methods” came in first stage.

However positive effects of distance learning are improving the computer skills of student.

Hence, the paragraph “developed my computer skills” came first.

In addition to that, the most types of devices that students use for distance learning is the mobile phone.

They also prefer the application of distance learning with friends, and they believe that the application of distance learning and its continuation are possible.

Finally, as propositions for the university’s role in activating distance learning to become a successful experiment, the paragraph “Improving the used system (Blackboard) at the university so that it becomes an effective electronic educational environment” came first.
