This paper aims to discuss a very important topic in political science, is evaluation of public policies, the role of formal institutions, based on fundamental problem that is the extent to which official institutions contribute to the process of evaluating public policy in Algeria? To answer the problematic, we will present the concept of public policy evaluation, is linked to three approaches: power, government, systems approach, explain the most important criteria adopted in the field of evaluating public policy and their types, then we will address the role of the important official institutions in Algeria in evaluating public policy, we conclude the process of evaluating public policy in Algeria the role of official actors has become more than urgent necessity to strengthen functional lies between government institutions such as Parliament, the government, the advisory institutions, through coordination in embodiment of public sector policy based on mutual control mechanism.
