Through this study, we will try to highlight environmental education as a foundation for instilling values and behaviors in present generations in order to establish them for future generations, which is what is called sustainable development, which is one of its dimensions, which is the environmental dimension of many problems that threaten human beings.

Among them is the lack of leadership in the exploitation of environmental resources and the lack of awareness of their importance, both in the individual and in society, and the educational and institutional media are a mechanism to meet these challenges by establishing the values of "environmental education", which play a central role in the life of the individual and society to preserve the environment in which the human being lives.

In this study, we will try to highlight the role of social-upbringing institutions to instill the values of environmental education in individuals, which necessitates the application of the analytical descriptive approach, which we conclude, in the final analysis, that the consolidation of environmental education values lies in the condensation of the efforts of social-upbringing institutions
