It wouldn't be an exaggeration to admit of the domination of pragmatics on my analytic tendency.

This may be due to its close relation with the roots and its expansion, horizontally, in the social fabric of the speech.

The analytic process goes way beyond just analyzing a certain speech; you'd be analyzing an entire society starting with its social tendencies and traditions towards its virtues and afflictions.

For this reason, I find myself constantly using texts with particular types such as the one we have at hand, the dialogue in Fakher Ad-Din play; a piece by the Rahbanis that carves deep inside the Lebanese culture.

It's in this play's Anglo-Saxon part that I've found what I'd sought, my dissecting tendency, which explains the title of this research, “Anglo – Saxon Pragmatism: the scalpel of Fakher Ad – Din play”, as the scalpel is one of the dissection's sharp tools.

So many of its users have tried hard to streamline the pragmatic methodology and make it accessible to all the analysts and researchers through easy tools that fit the nature of the analytic work and are of flexible material to its practitioners.

This have led us to shed light on the works of the Rahbanis, especially Fakher Al-Din play, while examining the conditions surrounding the theatrical show along with the historic era which formed the play's theme.

The most important things unveiled by the chosen analytic part are the reasons behind the chosen scenario amid Lebanon's situation during the staging, which may have also reflected some of the Rahbani brothers' national and political aspirations.
