The issue of women was and still is one of the issues that preoccupied the leaders of thought, reform and literature, being the mainstay of society.

However, the outdated traditions in our Arab societies have enslaved them since centuries of decadence.

And it came to view women in general as a decadent creature, just a set of instincts and desires, and the prey of an unjust male society .

Through our study of the novel "Isis Kobia" by Loasini Al-Araj, it becomes possible, in part, to be a socio-cultural model; Because it highlights the issue of an Eastern society that claims to be emancipated but refuses to break its internal obstacles.

Through it, he tries to show the spirit of revolution and rebellion, and to disclose the unfairness of the imposition of the male authority and society with its traditions, inherited habits and beliefs that diminish it, whether as an equal equal to the other, or as a free entity from the demands and rights of the other.
