Abstract EN

The study aimed to identify the Egyptian Press Institutions' adoption of Environmental Responsibility, and the role of this adoption in increasing the awareness and commitment of its Employees within the work.

The study used the media survey method, and the methodical comparison method, and it relied on collecting data on the tools of the questionnaire, the in-depth scientific interview, and the participatory observation.

The study was applied to an available sample of (380) single in Institutions: Al-Akhbar, Al-Wafd, and alyawm alssabie, besides conducting interviews with (12) individual leaders of the Institutions under study, during the period from June 1 to August 1, 2020.

the study reached several results, the most important of which are: the presence of Environmental Responsibility among the Press Institutions - the subject of study - 61.6% , and the degree of commitment The Institutions - understudy - of preserving the environment were moderate, and the most committed Press Institutions to preserve the environment were alyawm alssabie.

The study recommended the necessity of balancing the social goals, economic goals, and Environmental goals of press institutions, because Environmental Degradation impedes the achievement of other goals of institutions, and it also recommended the necessity of obligating press Institutions to prepare reports on their Environmental performance.
