Abstract EN

This research paper tackles one of the linguistic phenomena of the language of Bakr Bin Wael's Tribe which is the linguistic phenomenon of (silent case of the letter "ع" in the thrice past verb) as well as tackling what is similar to this case in the poetry of “Abu Al-Najm Al-Egly” as one of its prominent poets.

Scope of this study has necessitated it to rely on using the descriptive approach for describing this linguistic phenomenon.

Additionally, the descriptive methodology is also very significant for this study to illustrate its parameters and examples through tackling the following points: describing the tribe of Bakr Bin Wael, describing the poet “Abu Al-Najm Al-Egly”, explaining the letter "ع" in the thrice past verb, its features, it examples, the linguistic phenomenon of (silent case of the letter "ع" in the thrice past verb).

Finally, this research paper ends with a conclusion including findings of the research.
