Abstract EN

The study dealt with the application of e-government and its impact on improving financial performance in government units, a field study on the Ministry of Finance and Economy, North Kordofan State.

The problem of the study was that the traditional manual system used in government units is always characterized by bureaucracy, complexity of procedures, high costs, poor security and poor quality due to the large number of errors and slow service delivery, which may all lead to poor financial performance in government units in general.

The study aimed to find out the effect of e-government implementation on improving financial performance in government units.

The study used the descriptive and analytical approach.

The study assumed that there is a statistically significant relationship between implementing egovernment and improving financial performance in government units.

The study found that the application of e-government reduced the time it takes to provide services at the Ministry of Finance and Economy in North Kordofan State.The application of e-government helped to optimize the use of available resources by reducing costs and maximizing returns in the Ministry of Finance and Economy,North Kordofan State.

The application of e-government contributed to raising the quality and improvement of services provided at the Ministry of Finance and Economy in North Kordofan State.

The study recommended the interest in increasing the level of interaction and participation of the beneficiaries of the services provided in the Ministry of Finance and Economy in North Kordofan State, the interest in increasing the satisfaction of the beneficiaries of the services in the Ministry of Finance and Economy in the State of North Kordofan, and increasing the work to develop services continuously in order to keep pace with the development and improve the services provided.
