This paper sheds light on bioethics in the philosophy of the American philosopher David DeGrazia (1969-) and the relationship of human identity to genetic and ethical enhancements.

It deals with awareness of important philosophical issues, including the ethics of abortion and reproduction and genetic and moral enhancements.

DeGraZia adopts the biological point of view, which is based on the fact that we are fundamentally animals or human beings.

Therefore, our origins and criteria for numerical identity, that is, our continued existence over time, must be understood from a biological perspective.

Degrazia presents various pro-abortion and anti-abortion arguments and a philosophical viewpoint.

Degrazia differentiates between genetic and moral enhancements and medical therapy, stressing that there is nothing wrong with dealing with genetic or moral enhancements as long as there is a moderate regulation that reduces the risks of genetic and moral enhancements in the long term.
