Abstract EN

The following study aims to highlight the role of financial technology in promoting financial inclusion in light of the Coronavirus pandemic.

The descriptive and analytical approach has been relied upon to answer its problematic, which mainly revolves around the role that financial technology plays in promoting and mainstreaming financial inclusion in light of the Coronavirus pandemic and the challenges it faces.

The study reached a set of results, the most important of which is that fintech contributed to enhancing financial inclusion in light of the Coronavirus pandemic, which led to an unprecedented increase in demand for digital financial services in the world as a result of social distancing and precautionary measures that affected economic activities.

Furthermore, the study also found that enhancing financial inclusion in the presence of digital financial services contributes positively to its dissemination, as digital financial services such as payment systems and financial transfer are an essential component of the financial infrastructure.
