Abstract EN

This study is carried out to demonstrate that the narrators of prophetic Sayings have preceded the usage of this sort of comparison in their techniques in searching for the conditions of the narrators.

The researcher has used the inductive, analytical and comparative methods.

This research covered: Biography to Ibn Hebban, and description to his book (Al-Majroheen).

The research concluded that the types of comparison used by Ibn Hibban are: Comparison between a narration of teacheres.

Comparison between teacher's students.

Comparison of the narration which has been reported at different times by same narrator.

Comparison between al-hadeeth which narrator memorized and his document.

Comparison between narration of teacher and his student.

The research concluded with its most important results.
