Abstract EN

This research aimed at identifying the extent of implementation of governance principles at Ibb University from the point of view of its faculty members.

The researcher has used the descriptive survey method, and conducted on a sample of (84) members, chosen according to a stratified random sampling.

Moreover, the researcher has used a questionnaire that consisted of (44) items, divided into (4) principles, namely: (autonomy, transparency, participation, and accountability).

For processing data and information, the researcher has used arithmetic means and standard deviations.

The research has reached a number of results, the most important of which are: The degree of implementing governance principles at Ibb University in general was moderate.

Moreover, it was moderate on the principles of (autonomy and transparency).

However, implementing governance principles (accountability and participation) was weak.

There are no statistically significant differences at the level of significance (0.05= ) between the responses of the study sample members towards applying the governance principles at Ibb University, according to the research variables, namely: faculty, academic degree, years of experience
