Water is the origin of life, the most important organic component of the human being as a living creature, and the most important basic substance that protects the human body and guards it against diseases.

The human need for water is one of the pillars of survival in this universe.

Water security means ensuring that every person has a reliable source to get safe water sufficiently and at the right price, so that he may live with health, dignity and an ability to produce.

Water security is one of the basic pillars of national security of any country.

The research defines the Sharia and the concept of water security, as well as the importance of water security, its constituents and obstacles.

The Islamic Sharia has set many regulations and provisions that provide water security.

The research discusses these regulations, namely: the call to maintain water security and protect the water environment, not to violate it in any way, and to expand the hygiene circle.

The research also discusses the role of the Islamic Sharia in enhancing water security, including: sustainability of water availability by calling for acts of water charity and endowment, and promoting rain prayer asking for it.

The Islamic Sharia also forbids withholding water from those who need it, as well as the excessive use of water and wasting it.

Then, the research has concluded with the researcher's most important findings and recommendations.
