English Abstract

The aim of the current research is to identify the impact of the Six Hats program on reducing school bullying among fourth-grade primary students.

The researcher prepared a measure of bullying that is indicated by teachers to diagnose bullying among their students.

The validity and reliability of the scale have been verified and proven.

The school (Musa Al-Kazim) was chosen in the second Karkh in the city of Baghdad, and the program was implemented in it, and one of the fourth classes was chosen randomly.

(14) students were diagnosed as bullies (10) were males and (4) were females.

They were introduced to the program for a month.

they applied a pre-test on them, and then after the end of the of the Six Hats Program for (De Bono).

The school bullying measure was applied a second time as a post-test that was marked by the teachers.

and after applying the T-test, it was found that there were statistically significant differences between pre-test and post-test for group members and in favor of pre-test, which indicates a reduction in the degree of bullying in bullying children after applying the Six Hats program for thinking.

The researcher recommended the application of cognitive programs and strategies, including the Six Hats program in primary schools to reduce school bullying, as well as enter the teachers courses for the application of such programs.
