Social media has provided individuals, agencies and ministries with a variety of services to promote their goals and publicize their vision, strategy and future plans by publishing news articles, specific instructions or specific guidance through various means and networks.

Therefore, this article seeks to identify the importance of social media and its role in supporting the plans and strategies of ministries in In view of the vision of the Kingdom 2030, In addition to knowing the concerns of its officials in the role that these means can play in communicating with citizens, which has become a major impact as a key tool in the transfer of ideas, actions and achievements, in addition to the ability to persuade and create a public opinion supportive of the issues raised by the social media.

Hence, this article attempts to answer this question: What role can social media play in supporting ministries' strategy to achieve Vision 2030? This role requires the preparation of national media policies that set priorities and formulate policies to achieve the desired objectives, since the media does not produce development but paves the way to it, so the responsibility of the media in the Saudi society is very large, especially as it has the capabilities, tools and methods to make it affect its surroundings effectively Clear.

This is confirmed by the results of the article, which pointed out that social media has become one of the most prominent tools to support the policies of the ministries and their ambitious development plans, and contribute to the development programs, promotion and marketing of the strategies adopted by the ministries to implement the vision of the Kingdom 2030.

In order to the ministries and national bodies contribute to the creation of a type of successful development media, it must put media planning as an important axis of comprehensive development planning with the need to provide a suitable media environment for marketing these development plans as well as the need to provide specialized media staff to prepare these development information programs.
