منهج الواحدي في أسباب النزول في كتابه "الوجيز في تفسير الكتاب العزيز"

Abstract EN

This Research tackles the approach of Al-Wahidi Abi Al-Hassan Ali Bin Ahmed AlWahidi (468 AH), in Asbab Al-Nuzul (reasons for revelation of verses) in Al-Wajeez in Tafsir Al-Kitab Al-Aziz‘ The Brief Editor in the Interpretation of the Dear Book’.

It is divided into an introduction, a preface, two chapters, and a conclusion.

The second sub-section is based on the Al-Wahidi approach in listing Asbab Al-Nuzul in its brief interpretation, and the third sub-section deals with the impact of Asbab Al-Nuzul in the interpretation of the verse, and solves the trouble of explaining it.

The researcher concluded that Al-Wahidi did not have in his reference to Asbab Al-Nuzula clear image, and the evidence for that was considered as multiplication of proverbs and talking about the past nations is a reason for the revelation of verses, just as Al-Wahidi expression is based on one reason.

He really mentioned in the book “Al-Wajeez” in “Asbab Al-Nuzul” many benefits, which had a significant impact on clarifying and demystifying the meanings of the verses.
