Abstract EN

This study aimed to define the role of strategic leadership in knowledge management in private Yemeni universities in the capital, Sana'a.

The study followed the descriptive and analytical approach.

The population of the study was (461) academic and administrative leaders in private Yemeni universities.

It used a questionnaire as a main tool for data collection.

A stratified random sample of (210) individuals was selected.

and the data was analyzed using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) program.

The study concluded that the degree of strategic leadership practice in the study population was high (75.82%).

A statistically significant relation was found between strategic leadership and knowledge management with a correlation coefficient of (0.881) in universities The study recommended that Yemeni private universities should continuing the strategic leadership practices.

Those practices should be enhanced by using modern scientific methods to achieve the goals of the universities.
